Apple Spiced Oats



Goooood morning loves!! I seriously eat steel cut oats at least 3-4 times a week. There's so many additives to use that it never gets boring. It's so important to give your body the proper fuel it needs to have a lively, productive day! Feed your body the necessary nutrients and mark my words......YOU WILL FEEL A HELL OF A LOT BETTER! Less to no fatigue, which is the result of your body saying, EAT RIGHT! It takes no time to treat your body right.

Okay, well enough preaching! This yummy bowl was a basic Apple & Spice creation. One of my mini's favorites I make so many different variations that I will (at some point) post them all. Until then, hope you enjoy this one!


Ingredients

1/2 cup steel cut organic oats (cook according to package directions)
2 cups of water
1/2 cup organic gala apple diced; thin sliced for topping
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
pinch of sea salt
1 tbs Melt non dairy butter
2 tbs coconut sugar
1 scoop of organic peanut butter
1/4 cup coconut milk or any non dairy milk of choice
chia/flax seed mix

Directions

Once oats are cooked, add sugar, spices, salt, diced apples, & butter to the pot. Mix well. Pour into large bowl, sprinkle with chia/flax seed mix, garnish with sliced apples, pour milk around the edge of oats. Enjoy!

* If you like your oats creamy, prepare them by adding about 1/2 cup of milk into the pot at the end of cooking instead of adding to the bowl. Cook an additional 5 minutes
