Fried Egg On Toast


 Hey loves! There's so many variations to this breakfast, it's my go to most days when I'm not making my favorite steel cut oats! Quick & easy in the morning! We all have heard "breakfast is the most important meal of the day" yet truly it is! It makes a big difference eating something nutritious delicious before you begin your day.

What you need:

1 slice of good seed bread (Dave's organic bread or Ezekiel bread)

1/4 cup salsa (room temp)

handful raw baby spinach

1 large brown egg

sea salt and pepper to taste

1 1/2 tbs Melt organic butter

* I previously had homemade salsa in the fridge

Preparation

Toast bread and set aside. Heat saute pan on med heat. Add 1 tsp of butter and saute spinach. Remove from pan and put on top of bread. Add remaining butter to pan, crack egg into pan, season, cook over medium. Plate atop bread and add salsa. Enjoy with a hot cup of organic coffee, tea or smoothie.
