Seared Ahi Tuna with Mixed Greens and Cilantro Dressing

I could eat a seafood dish any day of the week! Listen....this was soooo yummy! Will also suffice for a light, healthy lunch, pairs well with a medium bodied red like Merlot. :)

1 ahi tuna steak
2 teaspoons of Mrs. Dash original spice
sprinkle with himalayan salt, coarse pepper
olive oil cooking spray
large handful of organic mixed greens

Cilantro Dressing, Ingredients

1 cup cilantro, packed
1 cup parsley, packed
1 teaspoon sea salt
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup red wine
3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil (evoo)

Using food processor, combine garlic and salt to a paste. Add cilantro and parsley, process until herbs are fine. Process wine til mixed thoroughly about 8 seconds. Stream oil in slowly. Chill dressing in the refrigerator for a few hours in a mason jar. Shake well to combine before using.

Coat steak with spices and seasoning.  Spray pan with non stick cooking spray. Heat over medium high heat. Add tuna steak to pan and sear for 2 minutes on each side. Remove tuna from heat and sit to the side. Plate mixed greens, slice tuna plate with greens. Drizzle in cilantro dressing. Bon appetite!
